how it works


  1. Submit your inquiry – Fill out our contact form with your preferred date, project, and party package. We’ll take a peek at your details and get back to you to lock everything in.

  2. Secure your booking – Once we’re all set, you’ll receive your invoice, event agreement & waiver, and a quick pre-planning questionnaire so we can personalize your craft night just for you.

  3. We get everything ready – While you look forward to the fun part, we handle all the behind-the-scenes prep to make sure your event feels smooth, simple, and easy.

  4. Party day! – We arrive about 30 minutes before your start time to get things set up and cozy. Most craft nights run 2–3 hours with plenty of time to create, chat, and enjoy.

  5. Wrap-up – After your event, we tidy up (about 30 minutes) and leave your space exactly as we found it — all you’re left with are the memories and your finished projects.

We keep our pricing as honest and straightforward as possible. Our projects use high-quality materials because we want your finished piece to feel sturdy, beautiful, and worth keeping. And truthfully — we’re not in this to make a big profit. We do this because we love crafting, we love the connections it creates, and we love sharing that experience with others. Your booking simply helps cover materials and lets us keep doing something we genuinely enjoy.

Standard Party — $55/person (6 guest minimum)

Mini Party (4–5 guests) — $70/person

Large Group (10+ guests) — $50/person

We rate each project on a five-flame scale. One flame is simple; five flames is a fun challenge that may take a bit more time, but still totally beginner-friendly.

Apps & Crafts began with two full-time legal professionals, Lauren & Tori, who found themselves newly relocated to the Eastern Shore and looking for something simple but hard to find as adults: new friends who loved creativity as much as they did. Crafting became their way of settling in—an easy excuse to gather people, share a laugh, and make something beautiful together.Lauren opened her home for casual craft nights, and what started as a small experiment in building community quickly grew. Soon, their table was surrounded by people who bonded over paint splatters, conversations, and plenty of snacks. It was cozy, fun, and unexpectedly meaningful.Then came the question that changed everything: “Do you do private parties?”
And just like that, what began as a simple way to make connections sparked a bigger idea.Lauren & Tori officially launched Apps & Crafts to bring that same warmth, creativity, and easygoing fun straight into people’s homes.We turn ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. From our own celebrations to yours, we’re all about fun, laughter, and a touch of sparkle!

Lauren is a full-time legal professional and co-owner of apps & Crafts. She's a mom, a wife, and the proud owner of what she lovingly calls her "ark" of animals. Her life is a basically a mix of glue, deadlines, and pet hair. She believes crafting should feel fun, welcoming, and a little chaotic — in the best way. If there's laughter involved, she's in and cannot wait to host a craft party for you!

Tori is a lifelong creative who never met a project she didn’t want to try at least once. She’s a wife, a dog mom to three lovable chaos gremlins, a proud Disney adult, and a self-declared jack-of-all-trades —always eager to dive into something new. She’s the kind of person with the “extra” gene (in the best way) who goes all in, loves thoughtful details, and delights in turning simple ideas into something truly special. She can’t wait to meet you & make some beautiful memories!
